On October 20, 2021:
The Line: Denver Broncos at Cleveland Browns -2.5 – Thursday, 5:20 PM (ET)
The Pick: Broncos +2.5 (-115)
On a short week, without RBs Chubb and Hunt, and Case Keenum starting for Baker Mayfield, the Browns should largely be devoid of offense.
On October 21, 2021:
The Line: Washington Football Team at Green Bay Packers -7.5 – Sunday, 1:00 PM (ET)
The Pick: Packers -7.5 (-110)
The Packers are 5-0 ATS in their last five games and Washington is 1-5 ATS in their previous six. For his career, Aaron Rodgers is 64-36-4 ATS at home. For his career, QB Taylor Heinicke is 1-5 ATS. The Packers rank 5th in offense DVOA vs. a Washington defense which ranks 29th overall, and 28th against the pass.
The Line: Atlanta Falcons -2.5 at Miami Dolphins – Sunday, 1:00 PM (ET)
The Pick: Dolphins +2.5 (-110)
The Dolphins are 9-3 ATS in their past 12 home games and the Falcons are 1-5 ATS in their previous 6 games as a road favorite. WR DeVante Parker (shoulder/hamstring) looks on track to return. QB Tua Tagovailoa put in a decent performance last week and gets a Falcons’ defense ranked 30th in pass DVOA. The Falcons are coming off their bye, however, it’s hard to say the Falcons are the better team straight up, let alone laying points on the road.
The Line: Carolina Panthers at New York Giants Over/Under: 43 – Sunday, 1:00 PM (ET)
The Pick: Under 43 (-110)
The under is 6-1 in the Panther’s previous 7 games as a road favorite and 5-0-1 in the Giants’ past 6 games as a home dog. Panthers’ HC Matt Rhule stated his desire to emphasize running the ball, which does seem believable. The Panthers’ rank 22nd in overall pace, and an emphasis on the run game should further lower it. WR Kadarius Toney (ankle) is expected to miss, leaving little offensive weapons left on the Giants set to face a Panthers’ defense ranked 8th in total DVOA.
