Quarterback:

Brian Hoyer (HOU):

Hoyer passed his concussion protocol and gets the start hosting Jacksonville, who rank 29th DvP and 28th overall. Houston is a -6 point favorite with a game total at 45.5.

In their earlier meeting in Jacksonville, Hoyer posted 293 yards and 3 TDs. Hoyer’s salary ranks him 20th/25th on FD/DK, respectively, making him a better value on DraftKings.

Houston will be battling for the division title, so resting starters will not be an issue, especially with DeAndre Hopkins (a top 5 play) full go. Jacksonville obviously has nothing to play for other than a draft pick.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (NYJ):

Fitzpatrick put up a 26/41, 296, 3:0 line and 2-13-0 on the ground with a fumble lost against the Patriots. Fitzpatrick’s points ranked him 4th for QBs on both FD/DK. Fitzpatrick’s price per point efficiency ranked him in 3rd/5th on DK/FD, respectively.

Fitzpatrick has a decent matchup against Buffalo who rank 18th in DvP and 17th overall. The Jets are favored by -3 with a game total at 42.5. Fitzpatrick’s salary price ranks him 10th/15th on FD/DK, respectively, making him a better value on DraftKings.

The Jets are fighting to secure their wild card spot, so sitting players will not be an issue. Buffalo has nothing to play for, other than the Rex Ryan narrative.

Eli Manning (NYG):

Manning put up a terrible 15/29, 234, 1:3 line against Minnesota. New York hosts Philadelphia as -3.5 favorites with a game total at 51.5, 2nd highest on the board.

Philadelphia’s defense ranks 31st in DvP and 30th overall. Manning’s salary ranks him 13th/14th on FD/DK, respectively. Odell Beckham Jr. returns from suspension this week. Both teams should be motivated as the loser of this game has to play in London next year.

Carson Palmer (ARI):

Last week, Palmer put up a 18/27, 265, 2:1 line in the throttling of Green Bay. Arizona hosts Seattle as -6.5 favorites with a game total at 47.

Seattle’s defense ranks 2nd in DvP and 1st overall. The on-paper matchup looks less than ideal, but Palmer has consistently proven to be matchup proof this season. In their earlier meeting in Seattle, Palmer racked up over 26 points (DK scoring rules). Palmer’s salary ranks him 5th/8th on FD/DK, respectively, making him a better value on DraftKings.

Arizona will be playing for home field advantage, so there is no risk of players sitting.

Running Back:

Tim Hightower (NO):

Hightower put up a line of 27-122-2 rushing and 3-47-0 in the air the Jaguars. Hightower ranked 1st/2nd in fantasy scoring on FD/DK, respectively. His price per point efficiency ranked him 1st on both sites.

Hightower has a solid matchup against Atlanta who rank 28th in DvP and 9th overall. New Orleans heads to Atlanta as a +4 point dog with a game total at 53, highest on the board.

Hightower’s salary ranks him 10th/13th on FD/DK, respectively. Hightower has averaged 25 touches per game over his last 3, making him one of the top volume RB workhorses.

Wide Receiver:

Eric Decker (NYJ):

Decker put up a line of 3-47-1 on 6 targets against New England. Decker’s scoring ranked him 11th/14th on FD/DK, respectively.

Decker has a solid matchup against Buffalo who rank 20th in DvP and 17th overall. New York is currently a -3 favorite with a 42 point game total. Decker’s salary ranks him 14th/16th on FD/DK, respectively. Decker has scored in 4 of the last 5 games.

The Jets are playing to secure their wild card spot while Buffalo has nothing to play for.

Martavis Bryant (PIT):

Bryant put up a putrid line of 1-6-0 on 3 targets in Pittsburgh’s meltdown against Baltimore. This week, however, brings yet another plus matchup against Cleveland who rank 27th in DvP and 27th overall.

Pittsburgh is currently a -10.5 favorite with a 47 point game total. Bryant’s salary ranks him 20th/28th on FD/DK, respectively.

This should be a bounce back game for Steeler offensive players in general as they are still alive for a wild card spot. Cleveland, tied for the worst record in the league, is eyeing that #1 pick in next year’s draft.

Tight End:

Zach Ertz (PHI):

Ertz, remains in this space after putting up a line of 13-122-0 and a lost fumble on 17 targets (team high) against Washington. Ertz’s scoring ranked him 2nd on both DK/FD. His price per point efficiency ranked him 1st/2nd on DK/FD, respectively.

Philadelphia heads to New York as +3.5 point dogs with a game total at 51.5, 2nd highest on the board. The Giants rank 31st in DvP and 31st overall. Ertz’s salary ranks him 11th/15th on FD/DK, respectively.

Ertz has a solid floor with a reasonably-high ceiling in a matchup that doesn’t get much better than this.

Defense:

Indianapolis Colts:

Indianapolis hosts Tennessee where the Titans rank last in DvP. This game is currently off the Vegas board. Indianapolis’ salary ranks them near bottom on both FD/DK, so a cheap play with a solid matchup.

Zach Mettenberger gets another start in what should be a low-scoring tussle. The Colts still have an outside chance at the division title with a win and a Houston loss. Tennessee, tied for the league’s worst record, is vying for the #1 draft pick.
