The 49ers’ Shanahan is 15-9 ATS as a road dog. The Cardinals’ Kingsbury is 2-6 ATS as a home favorite. Shanahan gets the edge in game planning in this matchup which should be good enough for the cover.

The Line: Los Angeles Rams -2 at Seattle Seahawks – Thursday, 8:20 PM (ET)
The Pick: Rams -2 (-110)
The Seahawks are 2-9 ATS in their previous 11 games following a SU win, and 1-6 ATS in their past 7 after an ATS Win. The Rams’ McVay is 14-6 ATS following a loss. The Rams’ carry slight edges over the Seahawks in both offensive and defensive DVOA ratings, and perhaps even a bigger edge in coaching.
The Line: Denver Broncos at Pittsburgh Steelers -1 – Sunday, 1:00 PM (ET)
The Pick: Broncos +1 (-115)
The Steelers are 0-6 ATS in their previous 6 games as a favorite, and 0-5 ATS in the last 5 as a home favorite. The Broncos are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games, last 5 overall, and last 5 vs. teams with a losing record. QB Bridgewater (concussion) practiced Thursday, and is trending in the right direction. If he goes, the Broncos likely laying points after the news.
On October 8, 2021:
The Line: Buffalo Bills – 26.5 Team Total
The Pick: Over 26.5 (-125)
The Chiefs rank 31st in points/gm. allowed (31.3) and total yards/gm. allowed (437.8). The Chiefs’ defense also ranks 32nd in overall DVOA, 32nd in rush defense, and 31st in pass defense. All four Chiefs’ opponents this season have exceeded their team totals. The Bills rank 2nd (tied with KC) in points/gm. (33.5).
