Defense
Philadelphia Eagles – Salaries: DraftKings (DK) – 3000, FanDuel (FD) – 4500. Philadelphia’s salary ranks them 14th/13th on DK/FD, respectively.
The Vegas line with the Giants has the game total at 43 points with the Eagles as -6 point home favorites. The Giants’ implied team total is at 18.5 points and the Eagles are at 24.5 points.
Philadelphia registered 4 sacks at Kansas City last week. On the season, the Eagles have 8 sacks and 4 takeaways, ranking in the top 4 in both categories. Detroit posted 5 sacks, 1 INT, and held the Giants to 10 points last week. Against one of the worst O-lines that will attempt to protect Eli in negative script, Philadelphia is in a prime spot at home.
Baltimore Ravens – Salaries: DraftKings (DK) – 3900, FanDuel (FD) – 5000. Baltimore’s salary ranks them 1st/2nd on DK/FD, respectively.
The Vegas line with the Jaguars has the game total at 39.5 points (tied for lowest on the board) with the Ravens as -3.5 point favorites in London. The Jaguars’ implied team total is at 18 points with the Ravens at 21.5 points.
In two games, Baltimore has amassed 8 sacks and 10 takeaways, while allowing 5 points/gm. Baltimore’s 21 fantasy points per game is over 5X value of their DK salary. They get Blake Bortles next.
Pittsburgh Steelers – Salaries: DraftKings (DK) – 3400, FanDuel (FD) – 5000. Pittsburgh’s salary ranks them 7th/2nd on DK/FD, respectively, making them a better relative value on DK.
The Vegas line with the Bears has the game total at 44 points with the Steelers as -7.5 point (3rd widest on the board) road favorites. The Bears’ implied team total is at 18.25 points with the Steelers at 25.75 points.
Chicago ranks 26th against fantasy defenses. Tampa Bay dropped 1 sack, 4 takeaways, a defensive TD, and allowed Chicago 7 points last week to the tune of 19 fantasy points. Pittsburgh ranks 3rd in yards allowed (237/gm) and ranks 6th in points allowed (13.5/gm). Pittsburgh has 9 sacks and 2 takeaways through two weeks. Look for the Steelers to add to that in Chicago.
Cleveland Browns – Salaries: DraftKings (DK) – 3000, FanDuel (FD) – 4400. Cleveland ‘s salary ranks them 14th/18th on DK/FD, respectively.
The Vegas line with the Colts has the game total at 40.5 points with the Browns as -1.5 point road favorites. The Colts’ implied team total is at 19.5 points with the Browns at 21 points.
The Colts rank dead last against fantasy defenses. Arizona logged 4 sacks, 1 pick, and held them to 13 points last week. Cleveland had 2 sacks and 2 turnovers of their own against Baltimore last week. Cleveland gets a great matchup along with a cheap price tag.
