On Sept. 14, 2021:
For Thursday Night Game:
The Play: WR Sterling Shepard (NYG) Receiving Yards
The Line: 59.5 receiving yards
The Pick: Under (-115)
Shepard’s performance last week likely elevates the public’s view on his line, but a huge WAS D-Line vs. NYG O-line mismatch awaits turnover prone Daniel Jones in D.C. Expecting Shepard receiving yards in the low 50s.
For Sunday:
The Play: WR Terrace Marshall Jr. (CAR) Receiving Yards
The Line: 29.5 receiving yards
The Pick: Over (-115)
Marshall should see the softest coverage matchup of the Panthers’ WRs out of the slot. His 6 targets last week ranked him 3rd on the team, and facing an implied negative-script, should see enough plays to get him near 40 receiving yards.
On Sept. 15, 2021:
The Play: Jonathan Taylor (IND) Receiving Yards
The Line: 14.5 receiving yards
The Pick: Over (-115)
Taylor logged a 6-60-0 receiving line on 7 targets (20%) last week, in the loss to the Seahawks. His production last week is likely a ceiling, and as dogs, with Carson Wentz liking the checkdown, should have the environment to clear this. 42.9% of Wentz’ targets went to RBs last week.
The Play: Russell Gage (ATL) Receiving Yards
The Line: 50.5 receiving yards
The Pick: Under (-130)
Gage logged a 0-0-0 receiving line on 2 targets (6%) last week, in the loss to the Eagles. QB Matt Ryan may possibly face a worse scenario this week than last, with a problematic TB D-Line vs. ATL O-line mismatch. The Eagles’ D-line vs. ATL O-line mismatch derailed the Falcons pass game with 3 sacks on 8 QB hits.
Falcons’ WRs received only 30.3% of the target share last week. Gage’s ceiling potential appears low.
The Play: Mike Williams (LAC) Receiving Yards
The Line: 53.5 receiving yards
The Pick: Over (-115)
Cowboys DE DeDeMarcus Lawrence suffered a broken foot in practice on Wednesday and DE Randy Gregory (got Covid) may potentially/likely miss this week. That’s the Cowboys top 2 pass rushers out. Willams’ average targeted air yards leads the team, and Justin Herbert should have adequate time to hit the deep routes.
On Sept. 16, 2021:
The Play: Jarvis Landry (CLE) Receiving Yards
The Line: 67.5 receiving yards
The Pick: Under (-115)
The Browns will look to spend a lot of time implementing ground and pound at will on a sorry team that can do nothing but take it.
The Play: Tyron Johnson (JAX) Receiving Yards
The Line: 11.5 receiving yards
The Pick: Under (-120)
Johnson got 9 snaps (12%) and 1 target (2%) for 6 yards. He was the 8th receiving option for the Jaguars last week.
