Fantasy Feud Interface/Usability
You can build a global lineup to use for any potential contest beforehand. Simply select your sport, your start time, and then you can create either your Salary Cap or Pro Pick’em lineup. Once you have a lineup created, you can export this lineup into additional eligible contests. A Global Player Swap feature is also available. If you have the same player in multiple lineups, and want to change this player for another in all lineups, you only need to do it once.
You can also create your own public or private contests very easily. From the main lobby, you can click on the “Make a Contest” button to begin the process. Select your sport type and start time, your contest type (Salary Cap, Pro Pick’em, or Snake Draft), whether it is public or private, head-to-head or multi-player, and whatever entry fee you’d like.
From the main lobby page, you can view existing contests, lineups, and export to csv the current week salaries. The My Account tab is where deposits, withdrawals, and profile editing occur as well as, easily adjusting your notifications preferences. If you don’t want to receive any emails or only want to receive specific alerts? This is where you do it. You can also review your performance in various categories, like earnings, contests, and fantasy scoring. These stats can all be filtered by sport, contest type, entry sizes/fees, entry type, and date range. This is a great tool to quickly monitor your current state of affairs.
The Resources tab in the main lobby provides the salary info, injury updates (these can be filtered by team and position), FAQ, video tutorials, and their own blog page. The blog page is where you can access additional tools and info. Twitter feeds from popular media outlets are shown here and also site-wide platform statistics. For example regarding the NFL, under the Resources tab, then the NFL Toolbox tab, then the NFL Platform tab, you can research various platform stats like the site-wide avg. fantasy points scored in Salary Cap or Pro Pick’ems, user top scores, and NFL player top scores.
Live Chat Room:
Fantasy Feud provides a very social environment with their live chat room that is accessible from any page on the site. There is usually multiple chat moderators available live. They are identified with “FF” in front of their names at the very top of the user list. This is very convenient if you have a quick question for a moderator. It can be answered instantly. There is also a private message feature for anyone online as well. Clicking on any user in the user list will show that particular users win totals by sport type, and your win-loss record against them if you have previously played against them. If you are looking for a quick challenge, this is an efficient way to get it on.

Contest Types
Salary Cap:
The traditional familiar salary cap amount here is $1,000,000, which is a big amount, until compared to player salaries. For NFL, this amount is available to fill 10 rosters spots which consist of 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 2 Flex, and 1 DST. For the 10 roster spots, this averages to $100K per player. For comparison sake, Tier 1 QBs may top out at around $170K, depending on the week. Building lineups and making value comparisons will not be as easy compared to other dfs sites. FantasyFeud has an “export to csv” feature that makes comparing and creating lineups easier offsite. The site provides a lot of research tools and player info (game logs, etc.) to help with this however.
Pro Pick’em:
Pro Pick’em, on the other hand, is the fastest and easiest way to create and enter a lineup for this type of contest. There are 10 groups of players for 10 roster spots. Pick one player from each group that is comprised of various players with comparable salary amounts. The one and only player selected from each of the 10 groups fill one of the 10 roster spots. Some of these groups may contain multiple positions within that group to choose from. There is no salary cap to deal with and no numbers to juggle. Expect the scores from Pro Pick’em to be higher than the Salary Cap type as the players available making up this roster will not be possible with the salary cap amount factor.
Snake Draft:
This format is similar to the traditional season-long snake drafts with the similar features like position sorting, loading up the queue with players for next pick, all done live in real-time against another opponent(s), but on a weekly basis. Players that like live drafting and are prepared for that week will like the real-time action against other live drafting players.
Survivor:
These are available to players if you get in on week 1 of the NFL season, of course, as these contests run from week 1 to week 16. Each week you pick 3 players, 1 QB, 1 RB, and 1 WR. Each player you pick in a particular week will not be available in future weeks. You can only pick a particular player once for the duration of this contest. You cannot stack all 3 players from the same team in any week. Each week, the bottom 6.25% of the field will be eliminated. The week 16 finalists will all cash out and the top scorer in week 16 will be crowned as the FantasyFeud Survivor champion.
FantasyFeud also features the typical standard tournaments, Guaranteed Prize Pool (GPP) tourneys, 50/50s, head-to-head, qualifier, and satellite contests. The contest duration types include the usual daily and weekly time frames, but FantasyFeud also has seasonal contests, which is similar to season-long fantasy leagues.
The NFL season leagues are either head-to-head or 10 player sizes. The winner of each league type takes 30% of the total cash prize pool. The weekly high scorer gets a portion of the remaining 70% of the prize pool. All the winners of the 10 player contests gain entry into the Week 15 Season Long Showdown where the top two scorers win 2 free seats ($3,250 value each) to the Feud of Champions $165,000 final. The season leagues may vary in time length, but each season league must be at least 5 weeks long in duration. New season leagues are available every week ending in week 10 since all season leagues close in week 14.
