This was one of those bizarre weeks in the NFL this season where a lot of the usual suspects were very thin despite favorable matchups and great games out of nowhere.

Lineup breakdown:

Both running backs with favorable matchups were great plays. Anderson finished as the #1 RB for the week.

The matchup proof Beckham Jr. tops the rankings for WR, again. Megatron was lucky to get his as Stafford was horrendous in what should have been a great matchup. A lot of salary was spent on receivers.

The Seahawks had probably the best matchup this week, and no surprises with the result.

Gresham was a luck box play. On the fourth play of the game, AJ Green gets drilled, injuring his arm, and was essentially done, not receiving a target. Well, Green’s targets now went to Gresham, who led the Bengals with 11. Sometimes you just got to get lucky and this play was definitely that.

This Vikings stack is most interesting and peculiar. Bridgewater was owned .4% and Wright .2% by players. If these guys show up on the NFL’s “That Helps No One” segment, the winner will be giggling all the way to the bank. The matchup wasn’t great but the Vikings went on to drop 35 points on the Dolphins. Is this genius, lucky, crazy, or some combination of all three? Wow.

Just to emphasize the weirdness this week, Wilson, Tannehill, Kaepernick, Eli, and Rivers round out the top 5 QB plays, Luke Willson was the #1 TE, and the (are you kidding me?!?!?) Falcons were the #1 DST. Raise your hand if you correctly ranked all of that. Yeah, right. Put your hand down.

Congrats to the DraftKings Main Event $1 million winner with a fascinating lineup!
