Understanding Our DraftKings Fantasy Football Projection Tool
To start select the current season, the upcoming NFL Week, the specific position you want to analyze or leave ‘ALL’ to see all players, and then the Minimum Avg DraftKings Points Per Game. This field will filter out players that have a DraftKings point average of less than your input.
Columns:
Avg DK/Gm – Average DraftKings Points Earned Per Game. This is your player’s season average for DraftKings fantasy points per game.
Salary – The upcoming salary of this player at DraftKings.
Price/Avg – The price of this player per DraftKings fantasy point (Salary / Avg DK). Use this column to find value players based on average fantasy point production.
Game – The upcoming game details.
Location – Whether the upcoming game will be played at Home or Away.
Opp – Upcoming opponent.
Opp Rank – Upcoming opponent’s team rank.
Opp Pos/Rank – Upcoming opponent’s rank by position.
Away – Percentage average of how this player performs when compared to their season average. A number less than 1 means this player performs below their average when away.
Home – Percentage average of how this player performs when compared to their season average.
Trend – A player trends up or down when he has increased his fantasy production two consecutive games in a row. This percentage number can trend up (positive) or down (negative).
Break Out – If a player has scored more than 25% of his DraftKings points average in his prior game, the percentage will appear in this column.
Projection – This is our attempt at projecting the amount of DraftKings points this player will produce in his next game. We take into account the opposition, location, trends, break outs, and more when calculating our projections.
Price/Proj – The price of this player per DraftKings fantasy point based on our future projection (Salary / Projection). Use this column to find value players based on our projection of fantasy points.
Rush Att/Gm – Rush attempts per game average for the season.
Rec Tgt/Gm – Receiving targets per game average for the season.
Price/AttTgt – The price of this player per rushing attempts and receiving targets (Salary/(Rush Att + Rec Tgt)). Use this column to find value players based on touches and targets.
Prev RushAtt – Previous rush attempts made in the most recent game.
Prev RecTgt – Previous receiving targets in the most recent game.
Price/AttTgt – The price of this player per rushing attempts and receiving targets based on the previous game (Salary/(Rush Att + Rec Tgt)). Use this column to find value players based on touches and targets from their most recent game.
RushAtt Change – The difference between rushing attempts made in the most recent game and the season average.
RecTgt Change – The difference between receiving targets in the most recent game and the season average.
Prev DK – DraftKings fantasy points earned in the previous game.
Actual – Actual DraftKings fantasy points earned in this week (if viewing a previous week).
